i wear a mask to hide,
the feelings i have inside
often do i remind myself,
how fleeting moments can be.
happy ones.

i learned enough to know,
the feelings are not to show
to save the heart from losing its soul.
yet again

wouldnt the world be a different place,
without the love in the world today.
